Emily Benn kam 2023 zu Hakluyt. Vor Hakluyt war sie im Investmentbanking und in der öffentlichen Politik tätig. Sie war Direktorin im Makro-Verkaufsteam der UBS und arbeitete sowohl in London als auch in New York. Anschliessend war sie in der Forschung an der Harvard Kennedy School tätig. Ausserdem war sie Leiterin der Foren für verantwortungsbewussten Kapitalismus in Waddesdon. Emily hat einen Abschluss der Universität Oxford und ist Mitglied des Verwaltungsrats der Guildhall School of Music and Drama. Im Alter von 17 Jahren wurde Emily als jüngste Parlamentskandidatin in der Geschichte des Vereinigten Königreichs ausgewählt und kandidierte anschliessend bei den Parlamentswahlen 2010 und 2015 für die Labour Party. Sie ist ein gewähltes Mitglied der City of London Corporation.

Emily Benn joined Hakluyt in 2023. Before Hakluyt, she worked in investment banking and public policy. She was a director in the macro sales team at UBS, working in both London and New York, and subsequently carried out research at the Harvard Kennedy School. She has also been director of the responsible capitalism forums at Waddesdon. Emily is a graduate of the University of Oxford and a governor of the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. Aged 17, Emily was selected as the youngest Parliamentary candidate in the UK’s history, and subsequently stood in the 2010 and 2015 General Elections as a Labour candidate. She is an elected member of the City of London Corporation.
