Professor Ngaire Woods ist Gründungsdekanin der Blavatnik School of Government und Professorin für Global Economic Governance an der Universität Oxford. Ihre Forschungsschwerpunkte sind die Verbesserung der Governance, die Herausforderungen der Globalisierung, die globale Entwicklung sowie die Rolle internationaler Institutionen und der globalen Wirtschaftsregierung. Zuvor war Ngaire im internationalen Beratungsgremium der Asiatischen Infrastruktur-Investitionsbank, im Vorstand der Arup Global Group und im Vorstand des Center for International Governance Innovation tätig. Sie war Ko-Vorsitzende des Global Future Council on Values, Technology, and Governance des Weltwirtschaftsforums (2016-18). Sie war auch Beraterin des IWF, der Afrikanischen Entwicklungsbank, des UNDP und der Regierungschefs des Commonwealth.

Professor Ngaire Woods is the founding Dean of the Blavatnik School of Government and Professor of Global Economic Governance at Oxford University. Her research focuses on governance enhancement, globalization challenges, global development, and the roles of international institutions and global economic governance. Previously, Ngaire served on the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank’s International Advisory Panel, the Arup Global Group Board, and the Board of the Center for International Governance Innovation. She was Co-Chair of the World Economic Forum’s Global Future Council on Values, Technology, and Governance (2016–18). She has also been an advisor to the IMF, the African Development Bank, the UNDP, and the Commonwealth Heads of Government.
