New realities – the war in Ukraine, geopolitical polarisation between democracies and autocracies, and questions surrounding the future of the economic system amid the climate crisis and the threat of deglobalisation – require new responses. For that reason, the leaders of the forum have decided to reposition the Europe Forum.

It is time to think bigger and beyond the borders of Switzerland. The independent ‘Lucerne Dialogue’ gives Switzerland, a country located at the heart of Europe, a platform with the potential to make a constructive contribution towards a strong European future. Going forward, ‘Lucerne Dialogue’ will focus more on the European ‘big picture’ and less on Switzerland’s relationship with the European Union. Delegates from all over Europe can benefit from ‘Lucerne Dialogue’ as a catalyst for new ideas and personal growth.
